Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization‘s 2nd annual Health IT & Security Symposium was a great success! With 75 conference attendees registered, we had representation from local hospitals, primary care offices, specialty clinics, and community based organizations.
“I learned more about cyber security, as well as some simple solutions to be more secure…”
Our goal was to improve the security posture and hygiene of our local partners, and feedback provided by conference attendees showed that we met our goal! One guest said, “I learned more about cyber security, as well as some simple solutions to be more secure.” Another said, “Understanding how to do more with less was the most valuable takeaway.” And several others expressed that the conversations sparked ideas they would bring back to their organizations.
Presentations topics ranged from the “dark web” and “ethical hacking” to cost-effective cyber security and cyber security misconceptions. All guests were also given a chance take part in livingsecurity‘s “Cybersecurity Escape Room,” an interactive learning experience.
As this conference continues to grow and mature, we look forward to providing high-quality, current, and relevant education to our community. We thank everyone that attended and hope to see you again next year!
