Tom Zecher, FDRHPO’s Chief Information Security Officer, will be speaking at a national conference later this month in Austin, Texas.
The Wave Conference, hosted by ESO Solutions, is the leading national EMS, fire and hospital industry conference for leveraging data to transform organizations and improve care quality. It brings together the best in leadership, data analysis and in-field experience to share how organizations can foster change.
Wave will be held March 21-22, 2019 at the Hilton Austin, and Tom will be presenting on Navigating HIPAA Compliance Regulations on the second day of the conference. Congratulations Tom!

Tom has been an employee of Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization since 2018. He entered the healthcare sector working in Emergency Medical Services, where he spent more than 15 years in both volunteer and commercial EMS/Fire agencies. Transitioning from the pre-hospital setting, he then spent eight years working in Information Technology Management in hospital environments.
As a consultant, Tom specialized in Information Technology, Privacy, Security and Compliance for both Fire and EMS and has a passion for helping not-for-profit agencies. He currently serves on several Board of Directors and Advisory Committees and is part of several national professional organizations.
