SUNY Upstate’s Comprehensive Stroke Center service interruption. Upstate University Hospital will not have neuroendovascular capabilities beginning on Friday, October 18th, 2019 at 5:00 pm until Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:00 am. During this time all patients with a suspected large vessel occlusion (LVO) should be directed to Crouse as the closest comprehensive stroke center. Upstate will remain open as a primary stroke center during this brief time; however, patients requiring neuroendovascular care will be transferred to Crouse.
