Role: Professional Office Assistant
Anita provides valuable assistance to the Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization. She specializes by providing professional support the N-CHIP (North Country Health Information Partnership) Team. Other duties include assisting Pat Fontana, Director of Population Health, and grant managing.
Anita earned her A.A.S. in Office Technologies/Administrative Assistant from Jefferson Community College, Watertown. Her certifications include: all 2007 Microsoft Office applications, 2016 Word & Excel, AHIMA Information Support Specialist, AHIMA Information Manager, Health Information Specialist (HIT), Grant Writing, Notary Public, and SHRM-CP. She is currently working on her QuickBooks certification and 2016 certifications for Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
During her career at FDRHPO, Anita has also worked as Program Administrator for the North Country Initiative. Anita’s vast experience comes from working as the Secretary to the Superintendent at Beaver River Central School, the Scheduling Manager at Climax Manufacturing, and an Administrative Assistant for a local accounting firm.
As if supporting FDRHPO is not enough, Anita volunteers as the President of the North Country Human Resources Association.
Anita lives with her husband Michael in Beaver Falls. Together they enjoy running their small farm, family sugar bush, camping on the St. Lawrence River and spoiling their grandchildren.
