Role: Quality Analyst
Charlie McArthur is FDRHPO’s Quality Analyst. He has a B.A. in Biomedical Science from St. Cloud State University and an A.A. in Respiratory Therapy from the University of Chicago. He has 30 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary diagnostics. He facilitated process improvement efforts at Mayo Health System as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
As a representative of the North Country Initiative PPS, he completed a NYS Department of Health program called the Medicaid Accelerated eXchange (MAX) Series Train the Trainer program. He has facilitated two Rapid Cycle Continuous Improvement programs to reduce preventable hospitalizations and emergency room visits in the NCI PPS.
Charlie is also the author of many scientific articles, reviews, and practice guidelines, and is the former chair of the diagnostic section of the American Association for Respiratory Care. He lives in Watertown, NY, with his wife Melynne.
