Role: ACO Project Coordinator
Laura Yott joined the team at the North Country Initiative (NCI) in July 2018 as the Project Coordinator for HealthCare Partners of the North Country, the regional Accountable Care Organization. She is responsible for the implementation, coordination and delivery of programs resulting in effective utilization of healthcare services.
Laura attended Watertown High School and graduated in 2006 with a Regents Diploma. Following graduation, she remained in the area to work and spend time growing her family. She graduated from Jefferson Community College in 2016 with an Applied Associates in Office Technologies – Medical. She is currently enrolled at Bryant and Stratton College, where she is expected to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Management in December 2018.
Prior to joining NCI, Laura worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Carthage Area Hospital for 2½ years. She currently volunteers time as the Treasurer for the Watertown Pop Warner Giants and works per diem as a Cheerleading/Tumbling Instructor at NNY Cheer and Tumble.
